It is a really, really stupid idea to have an on-demand pedestrian crossing rather than widen the tram flyway enough to have a bike path through it.
I, for one, will spend its second day crossing South Road incessantly. If they haven't programmed the lights properly, traffic might bank up further than during peak hour!

I am a 21-year old student of International Studies and Economics with a dip. lang. (German). I believe in local government, and participate actively in my local council. My other great passion is the environment, and I believe rail has a much greater role to play in Australia's green future. To this end, I want to become rich managing and planning Australia's rail network.
